Happy New Year ©

Here I am sitting writing part nineteen when the song that you are listening to comes on and I stop to listen a bit.
Many of you probably recognise it from a Mickey Spillane’s Mike Hammer series, for those of you who don’t remember or know what the show is, it was about a private detective that got into more trouble than not.

So with that in mind I went back in time through my blog to investigate the latest missing year and see if I could find where it could have gone.
As I was reading through post after post I came to the conclusion that you people should be paid to read my blog.
Does Walker ever shut the fuck up?
At least shorten the freaking posts.
AND LEARN HOW TO FUCKEN SPELL!!!
The nerve of some people eh?

I went from post to post then picked certain ones to read and think about.
I thought about a lot of things, how I felt and still do, then there were things I didn’t post about.
This year has had its ups and downs; there is no such thing as a perfect year.

Life is so simple, yet we make it so complicated.

I think my worst day was when Emme died on my lap while I was petting her and my best was seeing my kids again after eight years.
Everything else falls in the middle and gets filed as part of life.

I posted a lot about my family and my thoughts on life, tried to make you laugh a couple of times, even wet but that was from the tears of seeing how long my posts were.
As I read my posts I quickly realized what the best part of my posts were.
That was your comments and as I read through the comments I saw your hearts, your souls, your passion for life.

I saw the new people who have become regulars on my blog this year; they all have added their unique thoughts to those who have been my loyal readers for years now.
I have made a lot of new friends this year from all over the world and I have my regular zany bunch of friends that have been with me for a while now.
I think that is the biggest plus for me about blogging, the people I have met.
Many are such jewels and shine in their own way.

We are all like one big fucken normally insane family that if we were all combined into one soap, we would have the networks drowning in their own drool or running screaming down the street.

Do you realize that after a couple of years of blogging, a blogger could say, “I have heard and read it all” and mean it?
We have, we touch so many lives through our blogs there is no possible way we haven’t heard or seen it all.
We have lived many an experience with people we have never met; yet we can relate to them and tell them stuff we wouldn’t tell anyone else.
Are we stupid or do we know something the shrinks don’t know?

This past year I have followed your lives and added your thoughts to mine.
We have travelled through difficult times together, cried with laughter through disaster after disaster.
Through hard times and happy times you have all been here and I want to thank you all for coming and stopping by to my little world of family, friends and life.

I would like to share with you something I wrote on my other blog, I can do that because not to many read that one HA HA HA.

Last Soul

This blog just turned two years old
This blog that shouldn’t be
This blog that is not about me
It’s about you.
It’s about us.

All that I am, is all that you give me
The life I see here is the life you share with me
I am your pain
Your happiness
I live your hopes, dreams and walk with you down that road over there

Look through these pages and see
See if you can find yourself
It’s not me
You are here you just have to look to see your soul
Then you will know me

I have no soul
I sold that long ago for a dream, a nightmare
So now I wander
Searching
Searching through your words for that piece of life I let go

You who I read
You who I feel
You are the light that moves me forward
Through the words of your lives I feel what it’s like to live once more
I am you

You are all my adventures
Loves
Tears
All the smiles I feel with my fingers
Sadness and fears

My words are reflections
Mirrors of your thoughts
Feelings
You are the sunshine that warms by body
You are the tears that washes away the years

All that I am is all of what you are
Through your eyes I travel with your soul
We feel what you feel
Even when you’re blue I want to be you
You are the Last Soul

I must admit I miss hearing about Emme and my heart broke for you when she died. I'm so happy to have found you and your hilarious blog. It always gives me a boost and a good laugh when I need it, just as you have always been there when I have needed a friend. You are a very special man Walker.
