Snow ©

I hate when I write a post in the middle of the night and then wake up in the morning and I have to write another one, like today.
But not to worry, you’re gonna get that one on Friday, unless something else come up.
Fuck, it’s a vicious circle.
Last night I went to bed, oh did I say last night?
I meant at 4am I went to bed and when I looked outside the window it was all nice and green.
This morning, not a speck of green was in sight, just white.

I should have known it was going to snow when I found Frick curled up under the blanket in the spare room today.
He knew it was going to snow and there was lots of it.

I remember as a kid we all used to get up in the morning and go outside and we, all the kids in the neighbourhood would start rolling out the snow balls until the were to big to move and that would be the bottom part of a snowman and the from there we would finish off with the rest of it.
Then we would go around and check out everyone else’s snowmen and some got creative and made sculptures.

This reminds me of the time I was stoned, drunk happy as a pig in shit looking out the window around 3 am in the morning at a foot of fresh new snow.
The Ex was passed out in bed and I was all-alone, with nothing to do.
You know, that’s when most of us get into trouble, when we have the juice built up to do something and there is nothing to do.
So you go out there and create it, like a snowman.
Actually more like a snow woman.

The phone woke me up, it was on my side of the bed and that was my fault to.
When I was installing the phone in the bedroom I was thinking with my dick and figured if I put it on my side and didn’t answer it when it rang, she would have to crawl over my body for the phone and I could grab some tit first thing in the morning.

It was perfectly good reasoning on my part, except for the fact that the woman slept like a stone and wouldn’t flinch if there was a gun battle in the bedroom after she passed out.
Probably all the rye she drank.

So I answer the phone and it’s my mother freaking out about some naked woman outside or something like that.
I was hung over and still half asleep.
I got out of bed and walked over to the window to look at the naked lady and there was no naked lady out there but there were three people looking at my snowwoman.
Oh yeah, that thing.
I woke up quickly right then.
My mother was telling me to go out there and to take it down right that second.

I got dressed and went outside to have a look at it in the daylight.
Now it was a little different but I didn’t see anything wrong with it, it’s not like she was naked or anything like that.
I did put one of the Ex’s bras on her; I had no choice, the left boob kept falling off because it was so heavy.

It managed to stay out there for a couple of days before someone knock it down and stole the bras.
I figured it was a hooker who was loosing too much business and in need of a new bra.

So I sit here now wondering what to do with this fresh clean snow.

Have a nice day

Walker

SNOW???? It seems like only yesterday that you were sweating buckets in the heat. Where does the time go? Wish I was there. Now I'm the one sweltering in the heat :)

Walker ... thank you So much for stopping in to wish me a nice Thanksgiving hon. You also! I hope you're enjoying it with family and friends. I can't even stay to read right now - I have people coming here in about 20 minutes and I smell like garlic so I need to re-shower. LOL I'll be back. Thanks again, my friend.

You should have taken a picture! Happy Thanksgiving to you as well, Walker.

I have much to be thankful for this year. I can actually count a number of prayers that have been answered and some that weren't (which are probably more reasons to be thankful).

Both of my sons will be joining me for Turkey this evening and then board games or should I say bored games.

Snow, eh? I guess my daughter is building snowmen right now. We've still got it green, but freeeeezing cold. It should warm up a bit tomorrow, when the rain comes, it's always warmer then.
You're crazy funny. Sounds like something my hubby would do. :)

Anonymous Boxer: Thank you and I hope you have a Happy Thanks giving

We have a skiff of snow (is that a word) and it's only 2C. Goes down to -14 at night though. Love the snow woman idea. Too bad you didn't take a picture. I wish more people had a sense of humour like you do.

Josie Two Shoes: I admit i have done some stuff while drunk I wouldn't do while sober but it does make for some fun especially if it tame fun, something I think many opf us have forgotten to have.

Nan: I think we get to be to serious as we get older and many people think you have to be nuts to go out and have a little fun, but if its done with a smile others will smile with you and years later my mother still laughs whan she talks about it

Ahhhh .... I do so miss the days of 'creating' a snowperson when you're all kinds of fucked up!

Besides, it was always a good time watching the shocked looks on the neighbors faces when they saw the 'creations'! lol

Thanks for the "Mammories" Walker!

Hi Walker, your snow-woman story gives me just a glimpse of how much people enjoy snow.... then I remember how bloody cold I've been the couple of times I've been in it and I start cheering for the Australian climate.. then I remember how bloody hot I've..

Ah I am hoping we see some snow this year but it's not likely. they are forecasting a mild winter and it was almost 80 degrees on Thanskgiving day. I love snow!
